Minky fabric is very high-end, expensive, luxury fabric. It is 100% polyester. Polyester is a synthetic type of material used to make things like yarn, clothing, baby blankets, and even the inside of pillows. High-quality Minky blankets, like the ones from us, are also made for durability. As long as they are properly cared for they won’t lose their color, warmth, or softness; Even if you use them every day.
Minky blankets can be washed in a washing machine with regular detergent. However, it’s best not to use detergent pods or fabric softeners. You will also want to hang it up to dry.

Our Background
How We Got Here
Hi, my name is Shannon Raye Jaeger. I grew up taking my childhood blanket with me everywhere I went. I slept with it every night, even into my adulthood, so I've always been a blanket person.
​
Let me tell you a little bit about myself and how I fell in love with Minky. Years ago I married a man and had four beautiful children with him. Unfortunately he was abusive and I survived an attempted murder-suicide. As I was in the hospital in a coma, a dear friend of mine brought me in one of the most soft, soothing, luxurious blankets I have ever had the privilege of owning.

Although it was just a blanket it's texture, weight, and luxurious softness helped me heal and get through many hard times. My four beautiful children are doing great and are owners of several Minky blankets which have become important to them as well. One of my sons actually helps me with my business.

My passion from there only grew and I knew I wanted to make these blankets to help people through whatever journey they are going through.
